INDIA - BRITAIN SIGN EDUCATION MoU

NEW DELHI - India and Britain Friday signed an MoU for the second phase of their Education Research Initiative.
The MoU, signed by Human Resoure development minister kapil sibal and britain's university minister david willetts, will take ahead the UK-India education and research invititative(UKIERI) that has already created almost 600 new partnership between their institutions at all levels of the education system. the new programme will be funded by both governments.
We are focusing largely on collaborations in the filed of higher education the MoU focuses on skill development, leadership and quality in education, and student exchange along with the UK's cooperation in setting up the innovation universities in India, Sibal said after signing the MoU.
