| Singapore: Destination for Education Education in Singapore 1. Why did you prefer Singapore for studying abroad? I thought it would be a good exposure and an international experience studying in Singapore. 2. What difference do you see while studying in Singapore? More well rounded curriculum in the university. However the campus does not have a proper job placement infrastructure in place unlike the universities in India. 3. What is it that you like in Singapore? Singapore is one of the safest places to live in. 4. Do you plan to stay and settle in Singapore? Only for few years. 5. Does an education in Singapore provide you a global outlook? If so, in what manner? I would say it does because here you are exposed to so many different cultures and people that I don’t think would be possible in India. 6. Can you give details of on campus facilities in your institution? This one just copy-paste from SAO website. 7. How did you finance your education? How do you compare financing in Singapore, as opposed to India? Interest-free loans are available from NTU. The education here is much more expensive than in India but 100% of it can be covered under the loan including the living expenses. 8. Will you recommend a study in Singapore in general for juniors back home in India? This very much depends on the other choices and options that you have. If you have an admission from a good and reputable institute in India, I think that’s a better option than coming to Singapore.
